Just wanted to say a BIG thank you to Surreyfarms for their brilliant recipe. I’m relatively new to making homemade ice cream (as in, just started last month) but this is one of the best ice creams I have made so far. I don’t have an ice-cream maker so do it by hand (i.e. stirring it every half hour until it is frozen to break up ice crystals), but it is so worth it.
Served with freshly picked strawberries and homemade rhubarb and cinnamon ice cream and you are in heaven!
